My interesting and varied career experience means I bring a fresh and practical approach to each writing assignment. I love helping women in business find better ways to let their customers know how great they are.

I’m not interested in clever or pretentious wording, unless that’s relevant to the product or service you’re promoting. My passion is for clear communication: simple words to explain what you offer and let the reader know a) why she should be interested and b) what to do next.

    If you like to feel in control, know first impressions count, want to improve your marketing success, and enjoy feeling confident your business looks professional, you’ll love what a copywriter (like me) has to offer.

  • Will it be expensive?

Where do I work?

As a copywriter and content editor, all I really need is my laptop and my reading glasses, so I work from home.

There are pros and cons to this, as some of you will know. As I write, for reasons I won’t bore you with, my ‘office’ is in the corner of our bedroom (not great to be so close to the bed if you’re feeling sleepy!).
From late June, we move to Looe in Cornwall, and I’m looking forward to getting set up in my new office.

If you’re close to Looe, I’d love to meet up for a coffee to find out more about you and your business.
I find it very satisfying working with local businesses, and I’ve enjoyed networking in Northampton. Nothing beats meeting up in person (and I’m happy to grab any opportunity for a decent cappuccino).

We can still work together if you’re not local. I have clients I’ve only met through email, phone and Skype, and we work together very well, so location isn’t a problem.
